Welcome
Welcome to the web pages of the Quantum Information Group at the University of Tokyo.
In recent years, it has been discovered that the laws of quantum mechanics can be used to help process information in
ways impossible or inefficient with conventional, classical computing, leading to the new and rapidly growing field of
quantum information.
Entanglement (non-local quantum correlations) has become recognised as a key resource in this field.
In our group, we investigate new properties of multiparty and high dimensional entanglement, and the use of these
properties in quantum information processing.
